I'm stepping down from active game dev, with Abyssal Grail being put on hiatus. Getting back into writing has made me recapture my love for it, and I think that the amount of effort game dev solo requires is part of why I keep not finishing anything.

Solo gamedev work isn't too bad but gamedev in general is either that you love it or you hate it, from what I've seen. Next time you approach it shrink your scope a ton and train your "finishing things" muscle, would be my advice!
